In this aspect, KFW on behalf of the German Government acts as development financing partner of the program in a contractual relationship with the Central Bank of Egypt and SCU. A loan of 21 Mio. EUR shall be used for:\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>Planning, procurement and installation of EE items for 18 universities<\/li><li>Project-related renovation &amp; modernization measures<\/li><li>2-3 \u201cLighthouse projects\u201d as \u201cshowcase buildings\u201d to increase visibility of EE measures in public buildings.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"lte-background-white elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-38e31e7 lte-background-white elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"38e31e7\" to the participating public Universities based on the size of the University according to the number of students.\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Expected Results\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">The expected results from the implementation of the projects of the participating universities are:\u00a0<\/p><ul><li style=\"text-align: left;\">The energy consumption related to the investment measures to be reduced by 15%.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">The electricity consumption to be decrease by at least 25,000 MWh\/a.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">The CO2 emissions to be decreased by at least 10.000 t CO2\/a.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
